We would like to say a big thank you to everyone that has supported us over the past year that we have been open. the past year has flown by and we have seen lots of people use our village hall for groups and hall hire for private parties. Going forward we would like to see more groups using our village hall, but it seems harder to get people that want to open up new groups, we will strive to get as many new groups as we can. Unfortunately due to lack of demand we had to stop our Bingo however we will look at this again in the future. Our Prize Bingo at Easter was a huge success.
Our Craft Club which is run every Thursday except school holidays for children age 2-11 children under 5 must be accompanied by an adult.
We have secured funding to set up a village hub and do a Harriston History Project and we were successful in receiving funding from the Coop to assist us in getting more groups into the hall and to get a community notice board for the village hall. In September we will be looking at starting an Adults Arts, Craft, Knit, Crochet and Natter group but we have no firm date set for this as yet. We look forward to seeing you over our next year.
